I've been on Holiday (it does happen)
Friday, June 22, 2012 at 3:35PM For those people who are expecting camera reviews...I do actually have a couple of new cameras in to review....but I need to take them outside to shoot some test footage and the weather is so atrocious at the moment that I've had to delay these reviews for a while.
I've just been away on holiday for a fortnight and upon my return I picked up hundreds of emails and saw a few impatient comments in there, one chap in particular vexed me after he posted that he was unsubscribing from my youtube feed because I hadn't posted any videos in a while. My last video was three weeks earlier. I know that this is just one fool, and I'm better off without subscribers of this caliber, but stuff like this really gets me down sometimes. If anyone else is similarly frustrated with my lack of videos please let me know and I will refund you in full the cost of your youtube subscription to my feed for the three week period in question. Actually, what the heck, I'll refund double.
Anyway, now that has been said, for all the normal people I should have some interesting stuff coming along soon, but it requires some patience. I'm not a team of hipsters based in San Francisco doing this full time, I'm just one middle aged chap with a camcorder and a few spare hours a week. I'd imagine that most people could find something else on the internet to occupy their time until my next video is ready. Many thanks for reading and understanding.

Phew! I'm quite relieved that you've been on holiday and not in poor health. Good for you. Well deserved.
I also miss having a camera review every hour of every day but I can see how this could be difficult to pull off, let alone finance. One a week would be close to miraculous.
Regarding your "hater"; there's now't so queer as folk. Sadly they feel they constantly have to keep proving it. Luckily (for all of us), he is unique.

I think your reviews are worth waiting for! So no problem with holidays, or even "normal social life", I just appreciate your efforts in producing interesting and refreshing videos. Keep up the good job!
Just consider that people look so forward to your reviews they actually get upset when there isn't one. Pretty big back handed complement!! The sane ones out here are just happy you are on it again, Please continue to enlighten and educate us!!

I wouldn't worry at all about peoples expectations of your blog. If ever you have to choose between the virtual world and the real one, choose the latter.

I like the fact that your voice is loud and clear and its really easy to understand you.
But i'm asking myself something. Your videos on YT are in 720p. So it isnt possible for us to see the real quality of the more and more upcomming 1080p cams. Maybe you will find some sponsor for such a good full HD cam.

@Sammy. My equipment isn't really up to rendering 1080p videos for youtube. I tried it before but it takes too long and the file sizes are too big to upload. Youtube ruins the quality of anything it touches anyway, so even if my PC was better I'd still upload in 720p and then recommend that people download real samples instead.
Not only did you stop posting on YouTube for a while, but I asked you to review the StarCam ZX80 HD h265 mini spy dash v14c VGC Wireless Buckaboo Waterproof Bluetooth Instamatic four days ago and you still haven't made a video about it. I want a double refund too.
I did get it in for a test, but it didn't live up to my expectations.
