Dashcam Review: DDPai M6+ is the best mini cam I've used

In the video below you'll see a full Review of the best Mini Dashcam I've used. I've been using this in my car for six weeks and I can't fault the performance. I'm so happy with it that I have plans to buy a couple more when I can get the money together. Then I can replace the camera in my other car as well as try the dual camera functionality in my roadster.
The highlights of this camera for me are the magnetic mount, the video quality and the time-lapse parking mode. Other notable features include WiFi, GPS and a wireless remote.
I bought mine from the ebay store linked below: (Click your country to see the current price).

I’ve purchased from this store plenty of times over the years without any problems. Delivery usually takes approx 10-14 days to the UK.
I cannot report on the long term reliablity of a product that has only been on the market a few weeks...but I do hope it carries on working for a long time, as I really like this one.
Downloadable sample clips here: http://pc.cd/WSdctalK - Please don't be that guy who always tries streaming the videos and then gets back to me to say that they look terrible when streamed. These are provided for Downloading - they look like they were recorded with a potato if streamed over pcloud.
My 'BEGINNERS GUIDE to Dashcams' can be seen here: https://youtu.be/HQ0Tm9FFpKM
UPDATE - I must stress that this is not a basic simple camera suitable for beginners - it has a lot of features and you need to have a bit of experience with apps, smartphones and previous dashcams before you buy this camera. If you are looking for your first car camera...this is not suitable. I have a list of recommended dashcams and something like the Transcend Drivepro 200 is a good place to start. Big clear screen, minimal options and simple features, no WiFi or reliance on smartphone apps which can lead to potential compatibility issues with specific phones.
UPDATE 2 - OCTOBER 2016
I was getting a lot of questions about this camera - if you read through the comments below you'll see that the same questions keep popping up - so to help anyone out who is having issues with the smartphone features of this camera - please watch the video below - you'll also see a demonstration of the CPL filter in use. I recommend you watch this one on Youtube itself (click the youtube logo at the bottom of the video) and then you can skip to the appropriate section you need.

Great review, the only thing that's stopping me purchasing one, is I cant find anywhere that sells extra 3M adhesive bases to enable me to swap the camera and its holder easily from car to car. Any ideas?, I've tried all of the usual suspects which only leaves trying to contact the manufacturer.
I haven't seen any mounts for sale individually - luckily the one from the M6C that I had already stuck in my car fits on the M6+ so I didn't need to replace it...I'm looking after my spare mount in case I need to use it in my other car.
As always a really informative review that even I am able to understand, so once again, a very big thank you. I ordered one of the cameras yesterday and cannot wait for it to arrive. I have been using the very prone to giving up the ghost 0806 which is just about still working but it is now very difficult to access the camera settings. With regard to the O/S and compatibility with particular phones, I have a Samsung S4 and have been able to download the software for the camera, as the camera uses an Android O/S I would be very surprised if it was not compatible to the majority of phones. One final point, Techmoan, please do not stop your carcam reviews.
Found Ddpai M6 Plus for under £100. It's called Boblov M6 Plus, but pretty sure it's the same one!

Here's a re-post of my text about this from YouTube.
A few people have spotted another seller on Amazon...but they didn't necessarily spot that this seller was also based in China and will send you the same camera from there...but they do this much slower than the companies that I've linked to above on eBay and you will be more likely to incur import duties....and for all I know the independent Chinese based retailer on Amazon might be a hopeless clown...I can't say either way as I've never used them. I have however used the retailer on eBay many times and have always been happy with their service.
I love your dash cam videos ! The ability to look at an older review to see how a new camera compares in the same physical locations in the light and dark against another model is priceless.
I am an electrical Engineer, and I like your "man on the street" style of testing all of these things. You just don't get that anywhere else. No hard sell, no tricks, just a great review. Thank you Matt.
Great, I finally fit my DOD SP1 (great btw ;) and you come up with this(!)
Personally I think you should stick to reviewing what you like otherwise you run the risk of losing enthusiasm. I would happily list a few things I would like see reviewed but I don't think that's what you'd want either.
btw Do you ever get FM interference from dashcams?
Cheers
al
I haven't had an FM interference problem....the people who have interference problems usually try using the awful cheap included power adaptors that I always recommend throwing straight in the bin.
I would be interested in aftermarket backup cams, and cameras that mount to the front registration plate (licence plate in the US).
I hope you do keep up with at least some of the major changes in dashcams. New chipsets, and whatnot.
I was planning on a k1s, until I saw that the later ones seem to not hold up well. This camera is growing on me, but I really want a dual unit for the rear. While I was looking up more details, I repeatedly came across this unit; might be worth a look. I'm seeing these under different names on Amazon in the UK and US as well as on Ebay. Looks kind of like the new hotness has Sony imaging chips now. It looks interesting... but I'd spray paint the bloody thing black. (Silver, in the windshield... really?)
